This view was taken near Muchelney, about a mile south of the point where we join Macmillan way West to walk into Langport, and possibly onwards to Barnstaple (see Gallery 2)

A track across the colourful Somerset Levels just to the west of delightfully named Kingsbury Episcopi

One of the finest churches in all Somerset, with a typical Somerset tower and a beautifully spacious interior.

This impressive Tithe Barn is now entitled The Smuggler’s Barn. But we are off to Langport-and possibly beyond to Barnstaple on the Macmillan Way West—126 miles in all

This pretty village lies on our main route (see Gallery 1), but from here on we are on a different path all the way to Langport, 24 miles ahead

Picturesque little town with a castle and a working watermill, both in the care of the National Trust: And also a fine church with a tuneful carillon
